Online Beauty Products

Don't you find it frustrating when some beauty and health care products aren't available in stores from your state? In particular, brands from Asia such as:
  • Majolica
  • Dollywink
  • KissMe
  • Canmake
  • Candydoll
Check out:
Sasa - It has almost every single beauty and health care brands out there! The list of them are almost endless. They are also cheaper than what you would normally buy from over-the-counter stores.
Free shipping is provided for items over US$75.

apopofkawaii - Apopofkawaii supplies Japanese cosmetics that are sometimes hard to find elsewhere. I usually go to this site when sasa.com has out-of-stock products. For buyers in Australia, our shipping region is 'Oceania'.

I've been ordering from these stores for a while now and i love it! I usually buy two of the same products because once they are out-of-stock, they do take a while to order more in.

But exciting news! A new beauty & cosmetic store based in the US has debuted online just over a month ago. I've yet to explore it but do take a look at it at Artie Beauty Cosmetics. They are currently holding a Spring Sale which expires soon and free shipping is provided for items over US$85.

"Enjoy 10% off on your purchase at Artie! Use code: “ARTIE10″ at checkout. Offer expires on April 30, 2011."

But that's not all.

I've been following another blogger, ekiblog who has been promoting Artie and I just found out about an additional 5% discount on top of the current 10% discount for readers of her blog.

Type in the coupon code: 'EKIBLOG' at the checkout for a 15% discount!

Before i leave you to surf the above sites, here's one of my favourite Popteen models, Tsubasa Masuwaka.

I'm a huge fan of her Dollywink collection of fake upper and lower eyelashes so check them out at her website!

Hairstyles

I was looking back at some past photos on my computer and i realise it's been a while since i've done any styling to my hair.

I've been following Binosusume's tutorials on youtube and she's got some great ideas. I'm waiting until my hair grows out thick again before i start doing anything to it.

Back then i had straight bangs and i wanted to find ways to hide it without pinning it back. I realised i could do this by french braiding my fringe into the front part of my hair.

There are many more hair tutorials by Binosusume on youtube so check out her channel for more styles!

Yiruma's Music

I Ru-ma is a pianoist and composer from South Korea, well renown for his stage name, Yiruma, meaning "accomplishment".

I've been listening to his 2001 album 'First Love' and it just amazes me how he has the ability to capture the power of love through his songs.

Yiruma said "If I was part of the general public, I myself would want to listen to calm and simple music, not something that is too complicating. I don’t think I would of chose those kind of music to listen to myself. When I write my music I always think about creating pieces that the public can easily listen and relate to as well as pieces that anyone can easily play themselves."

I'm currently learning 'River Flows in You' which is a beautiful piece. I suspect it'll take me a while to get to the speed Yurima is playing at since I've never had proper piano lessons before. Fingers crossed I can play this piece fluently.
